Jennifer Greene’s varied career has taken her from performances in concert halls and opera houses throughout the USA to varied teaching experiences with organizations such as The Metropolitan Opera Guild and New York City Opera Education Department.  She has received prestigious awards for her teaching including recognition from The Weill Institute at Carnegie Hall and a Champion for Change Award from Lifetime Television.

Ms. Greene has maintained a private voice studio for over ten years, with students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Her philosophy of teaching the singer as a complete musician begins with a solid understanding of vocal technique. Presented in a positive and supportive setting, this allows students to achieve at their own individual pace and build performance confidence.

Ms. Greene’s vocal students have been accepted into prestigious conservatories, summer programs, and voice competitions including:  Mannes College of Music, Manhattan School of Music, The Peabody Conservatory, New England Conservatory, Dolora Zajick's Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, Boston University Tanglewood Music Institute, NFAA YoungArts Awards, New York City Opera High School Vocal Seminar, CityWide Youth Opera, and the Classical Singer High School Competition. Her students have performed at venues including Steinway Hall, the United Nations International School, The Rainbow Room, and the Four Seasons as well as being featured on off-Broadway stages and in film.

Ms. Greene is the Founding Director and Soprano Soloist for a unique opera outreach program called Fairytale Opera Theater which brings professional opera singers to schools in exciting, interactive programming throughout New York City and has already reached over 3,000 inner-city elementary students.
